Dealing with commerce companies that strive to become data-driven every day, minubo and Project A both recognized the urgent need to establish a standard for commerce reporting. They joined forces to launch this initiative and acquired further qualified industry partners to turn the vision into reality.
The Initiators
minubo – the Commerce Intelligence Company
minubo is the Commerce Intelligence Company for omni-channel brands and retailers – solving the top 3 challenges that commerce companies face in becoming data-driven in an omni-channel environment: strategy, people and technology.
Fed by a full omni-channel data base, minubo’s Analytics & Insights App enables both strategic and operational roles to make better, data-driven decisions – every day. Alongside that, minubo’s professional services team helps building the needed infrastructure and processes for a fast-growing omni-channel business.
Founded in Hamburg in 2013, and having relocated their headquarters to Boston, MA, in spring 2015, minubo is backed by experienced industry investors like digital commerce pioneer Stephan Schambach.
Project A – the Operational VC
Project A is an operational VC that provides its ventures with capital, an extensive network and exclusive access to a wide range of operational expertise.
The Berlin-based investor makes use of the €260m in assets under its management to back early-stage companies in the digital technology space. With its unique organizational structure featuring 100 operational experts, Project A offers its portfolio companies hands-on support in the areas of IT, Marketing & Brand Building, Business Intelligence, Sales and Recruiting. The portfolio includes companies such as Catawiki, WorldRemit, Tictail, Contorion, nu3, Lostmy.name and ZenMate.
